You may have heard of the term NUC but don't know what it is?
Well NUC stands for Next Unit of Computing which simply means a small computer. The small size opens the usage up to a series of different usages such as:
a multimedia machine
usage in small spaces
digital signage
The unit can be attached to the back of a monitor and has inbuilt WIFI so space and cords can be kept to a minimum.
For a look inside a NUC check out the following video:
Well it had to happen. After I dropped my phone into water and the phone survived (check out the video here - http://youtu.be/Q0CMZlcewqY) one of my techs left a phone in his trousers and then it went through the wash.

Ever wondered what the inside of a hard drive looks like?
A hard drive is a computer peripheral that stores all your data within a computer. Due to the nature of a hard drive (ie once it is open the data on the drive is lost) not many people have seen the inside of an actual hard drive.
Below are two videos showing the insides of both a 3.5" (desktop) and 2.5" (laptop) hard drive.
Warning: If you follow the steps in these video ALL you data will be lost. If you need to recover data off a hard drive please consult a data recovery expert.
If you have any questions please leave them in the comment field below.

I came across a strange problem today. A client who is using Outlook 2010 couldn't delete any emails. When trying to delete an email it came up with an error and said to run scanpst.exe. Running the scanning program found some errors and repaired them but it still didn't fix the issue.
Upon further investigation I noticed that you could permanently delete emails (ie press shift and then the del key). The issue was with just the Deleted Items folder as I couldn't manually move items from or to that folder.
I then exported the email to another PST file and then everything worked all ok.
This fix was for MS Outlook 2010 but it may also work with other versions. If it works for you on another version please leave a comment below.
I found it strange that the scanpst utility didn't fix it but an export to another PST files did (I also exported the Deleted Items folder) so thought I'd share it here and hopefully it saves someone else a headache!
